Below are the Children’s Faith Formation (CFF) programs we offer for children ages 3 1/2 years old up to 6th grade.

Little Saints:

Little Saints is our warm and welcoming pre-school program offered during the 9 AM and 10:30 AM Masses for children 3 1/2– 5 years old.  While parents are at Mass, young children learn how special and loved by God they are! This program runs from September – May.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLW):

St. Joan of Arc offers Children’s Liturgy of the Word for children in Kindergarten to 5th grade. During the Mass and prior to the First Reading, children are dismissed from Mass to read the Sunday’s readings in a manner that is more children friendly and fun. They may also color or have a craft related to the reading of the week. They return to Mass and their families during the offertory. There is no registration required for this program.
CLW is offered most weekends at both the 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM Masses during the school year. You may check the Parish Events Calendar on the website every Saturday to verify if CLW will be offered. Please consider offering to serve in this volunteer based ministry so we can continue to offer this program as often as possible.

Family Faith:

We believe that parents are the first and best teachers of faith for their children, and that the best gift we can give the children of our parish is an entire family growing in faith together! With that in mind, St. Joan of Arc is happy to announce FAMILIES OF FAITH, our new faith formation program for all families with children in grades K-3 (younger and older siblings welcome!).  With Families of Faith your whole family comes together twice a month, to learn about God and grow in faith as a family.  Three options are available:

  • Sundays after the 9 AM Mass (10-11:15 AM)
  • Sundays after the 10:30 AM Mass (11:30-12:45 PM)
  • OR Thursday evenings (6:00-7:15 PM)

First Reconciliation & First Eucharist:

After your child has completed one year of faith formation in the first grade (or later), he or she is eligible to enter the Sacraments program, and prepare to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist.  Families wishing their child to receive these sacraments will attend Families of Faith, plus extra workshops to prepare specifically for the sacraments.

ROCK (3rd, 4, 5, and 6th Grade):

ROCK includes catechesis, prayer, music, games and social time. ROCK is offered to 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. They meet Mondays during the school year from 6:00 – 7:30 PM
